Cittadellarte

I have been on residency for two weeks at Cittadellarte, in Biella in the north of Italy. Cittadellarte is a living art place that focuses on Responsible Social Transformation. Activating ways we can build society through ethical co-working with the planet and each other. With with art at it’s core, there are many ‘cells’ of Cittadellarte, including politics (Love Difference), architecture, education, food, economics, spirituality, fashion, nourishment, human rights, design and production, history, literature.

Super inspiring.

I partook in two weeks of the educational program called the University of Ideas (UNIDEE). Like many alternate education programs, UNIDEE has just broken down it’s structure from a 4 month placement to be shorter one week modules. I took two of them,one on Social Architecture and another on Politically mapping your praxis. You can see more about what we did in them below. I also spent time learning about how the foundation grew, runs and structures itself.
